What if I told you some job postings are fake and designed to scam you.
In this video, I will show how I found this scam and tips to protect.
There are lot of fake job postings even in genuine job portals. I applied for one and I immediately got a response saying they are interested and asked me to send my resume. I did.
Next, they said its not ATS compliant and gave a website to go and make it ATS compliant. Many people who submitted their resume in the given website with payment and lost their money.
Since, I know its scam. I didn't pay and still I get follow up to submit my resume in their given website. Scammers go to next level like scheduling fake AI interview and ask for training fee and background checks.
They do it for data and money, bank
How to find ?
*High pay and no experience
*Unverified company emails
*automated or generic response
*upfront payment
Protect yourself by
-verify job posting
-research recruiter
-never share SSN, bank details, pay fees
-never use ATS link given by them
